Amlozaar/Losartan potassium 50mg and amlodipine 5mg-30 Tablets

Amlozaar is indicated for treatment of mild to moderate hypertension

It is also indicated in hypertension not responding to monotherapy with calcium antagonists or angiotension II receptor antagonists.

It may also be substituted for the titrated doses of the individual components

Dosage:

The recommended dosage is one tablet once a day or as directed by the physician.

Adverse reactions/side effects

Amlozaar is well tolerated. Side effects include nausea, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, fatigue, flushing, palpitation and asthenia

Precautions/warnings

The combination should be used with caution in elderly patients and patients with renal impairment, severe obstructive coronary artery disease, impaired hepatic function.
