Esclam Kit is a combination therapy pack containing Esomeprazole 20mg (delayed release), Clarithromycin 500mg, and Amoxicillin 1g. Each pack contains 7 kits – a complete 7-day course designed for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection, especially in patients with active duodenal ulcers or a history of duodenal ulcer disease.

Esclam Kit Composition (Per Kit)

• Esomeprazole (DR) – 20mg × 2 tablets

• Clarithromycin – 500mg × 2 tablets

• Amoxicillin – 1000mg (1g) × 2 tablets

Each day’s therapy includes 2 kits: one labeled for morning and the other for evening use.

Esclam Kit is indicated for:

• Eradication of H. pylori in patients with:

  • Active duodenal ulcer, or

  • History of duodenal ulcer within the past 5 years

Successful eradication of Helicobacter pylori has been shown to significantly reduce the risk of duodenal ulcer recurrence.

How to take Esclam kit

• Take one kit in the morning and one in the evening, each containing:

  • 20mg Esomeprazole

  • 1g Amoxicillin

  • 500mg Clarithromycin

Post-Treatment Recommendation

After completing the 7-day Escam Kit, continuation with a proton pump inhibitor (acid suppressant) is advised for at least 3 additional weeks
